Technique and settings matter.
Temporary redness, warmth or perifollicular swelling may occur. Burns, pigment changes, blistering or scarring are uncommon but possible, particularly when treatment parameters or aftercare are unsuitable.
Tell the clinic about medicines, active skin conditions, recent tanning, pregnancy, keloid tendency and previous reactions. Follow the prescribed sun-protection, shaving and skincare instructions before and after each session.
